The PBI Team

Amy Neumann, LICSW
Founder, Executive Director and Therapist
With more than 25 years of experience in the mental health and human services field, Amy brings warmth, expertise, and a genuine passion for helping people create meaningful change in their lives. She believes that therapy should be a collaborative process where clients feel supported, understood, and empowered to reach their goals.
Amy specializes in helping adults manage anxiety, depression, stress, sleep difficulties, and life transitions. Drawing heavily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), she works with clients to identify unhelpful patterns, develop practical coping strategies, and build resilience in the face of life's challenges. Her approach is compassionate, goal-oriented, and tailored to each individual's unique needs.
In addition to working with adults, Amy enjoys supporting couples, professionals, and teens and young adults as they navigate relationships, career pressures, personal growth, and important life changes. She is committed to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can gain insight, develop new skills, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.

She is responsive, warm, and quick to be helpful. She is contemplating going back to school to become a therapist herself.

Sarah Melanson, LCSW
Therapist
We're excited to welcome Sarah to our team.
Sarah works with adults (18+) facing anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, trauma and life transitions, to name a few. She takes a warm, collaborative approach, drawing from CBT, DBT, Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to help clients identify patterns, strengthen coping skills, and move toward the life they want.
Sarah is eligible to sit for the LICSW exam, meaning that she has met all of the educational, training and supervision requirements for independent licensure. Until she sits for her exam, she will work under the supervision of Amy Neumann, LICSW.
