Service Description
Your first session is an opportunity to get to know your therapist and begin discussing what brought you to therapy. You’ll share your current concerns, goals, and relevant personal or mental health history. The therapist will explain their approach, confidentiality, and how sessions typically work. Together, you’ll start exploring strategies and next steps, and schedule future sessions.
Cancellation Policy
Before your session: Please make sure you have created an account on our client portal. Through your portal, you can review and sign any required paperwork and access the link to join your session at the scheduled time: To CREATE a portal login, use this link: https://413therapy.mytheranest.com/account/signup Portal Log-In Link: https://413therapy.mytheranest.com/home/login Technology check: Make sure your device has a working camera, microphone, and a stable internet connection. Environment: Find a private, quiet space where you feel comfortable speaking openly. Insurance Coverage: Double check your insurance coverage for your co-pay/deductible responsibility. If you have Health New England or Medicare, you may only book with therapists who have the following credentials: LICSW, LMCH and LADC1. With insurance, the cost can be as low as $0.00 for some, depending on your co-pay or deductible. We have a sliding scale available as well. The maximum out-of-pocket cost for an intake session is $150. If you need assistance setting up your account or navigating the portal, please contact us at kayleigh@pbitherapy.org and Kayleigh will be happy to help. Rescheduling & Cancellations: If you need to reschedule or cancel, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. If an unforeseen circumstance arises and you need to cancel within the 24-hour window, please email kayleigh@pbitherapy.org and we will do our best to accommodate you in rescheduling.
